Driver Edition is the label our catalog uses for the racing-team top tier — the build a team's own people wear rather than the one sold to the stands. In practice it sits with the player version, not the fan version: lighter fabric, closer cut, and the team and sponsor marks applied as a raised or heat-pressed finish rather than a flat print.
What it is not is a fixed recipe. Construction moves with the team, the season and the supplier's current run, so we do not publish a single weight or composition for it. The individual product page carries what is true for that style, and if the exact build matters to your customer — a repeat order that has to match last season, for instance — ask us before you commit and we will confirm it against the batch.
Pick the fan version if…
You are stocking for general resale, club bulk, or a gift market. You want the lower cost tier, a full size range and a fit that suits most bodies without a size conversation at the counter. This is what most first orders are built around.
Pick the player version if…
Your customer asks for the top build by name — racing fans, collectors, specialty stores — or you are selling into a club that wears the kit rather than watches it. Accept that it costs more and sizes tighter, and order a sample size before a large run.
A note on sizing before you commit
The player build is cut noticeably tighter across the chest and shoulders. If your customer normally takes L in a fan version, expect to sell them XL in the player version. The fan version runs true to size.
